We've got a few new updates to the RAM Tracking system:

We've added several features that you can take advantage of:

• When using the API, driver details are now visible! Rather than get details of the vehicle that the driver is in, you can get information on the driver instead. Ideal for those that are using multi-drivers in vehicles.
• Added a satellite fix icon into the RAM Tracking mobile app, this will show those in the head office if certain vehicles are not currently receiving signal. This can really help if the tracking seems to be off (for example, when you're in a tunnel), you understand that it is due to the signal rather than the software.
• We have also added a "What's New" to the dropdown so you can quickly and easily see our latest news and updates. This is to help you keep track of any significant changes and the latest news.

We are pleased to have brought these useful features to the RAM Tracking software to increase our functionality.

We've made a few changes to Job Assist over the last few weeks to make it more accessible for our Job Assist users.

Job Assist offers a couple of different new features:

1. Postcodes and phone numbers are now clickable within the mobile app. Put in simple terms: you can now click to dial from within the Job Assist mobile app.
   
2. When scheduling a job within the mobile app you can now set the job length over multiple days which falls in line with the web version.

Our reports have been updated 🙌.

We have taken steps to make our scheduled reports even better!

We have made it so you can select multiple vehicles at once - this could be selecting all vehicles or alternatively, selecting individual vehicles.

We have made this change to make your reporting much easier to complete!

We've been hard at work updating how we notify users of important things, we're thrilled to announce our newest User Notification feature 🙌.

We've added an easy-to-access dropdown menu in the top navigation of the system, which will allow you to quickly view and manage any alerts that pertain to your vehicles. In the first phase, user notifications will only match what you have email alerts set up on.

We are excited to announce a powerful new feature for our vehicle tracking system - webhooks. With this feature, you can now automate tasks and trigger actions in other systems based on events happening in RAM Tracking, in real time 🎉.

Here are some examples of what you can do with webhooks:

• Send a notification to a customer when their vehicle arrives at a specific location
• Update a customer's account balance when a delivery is completed
• Send an alert to a maintenance team when a vehicle goes over a specific speed limit
• Sending a notification to a customer when their vehicle arrives at a specific location, such as a warehouse or delivery destination.
• Automatically updating a customer's account balance when a delivery is completed, by using webhooks to trigger an API call to a billing system.
• Sending an alert to a maintenance team when a vehicle goes over a specific speed limit, to help prevent wear and tear on the vehicle.
• Sending a notification to a security team when a vehicle enters a restricted area, such as a gated community or a secure facility.
• Automatically sending an invoice to a customer when a vehicle has completed a delivery, by using webhooks to trigger an API call to an invoicing system.

To start using webhooks, you will need to set up a webhook endpoint, configure the webhook in your tracking system, and write code to process the webhook payload. Once you have set everything up, you can test the webhook to make sure it is working as expected.

Geofences have been updated 🙌.

We've recently added the ability to use preloaded geofences for Congestion Zones & ULEZ's around the country, which will include at launch:

• Ontario 407 Toll Road (Canada)
• Dartford Crossing
• London Congestion Zone & ULEZ
• Birmingham CAZ
• Bath CAZ
• Portsmouth LEZ
• Oxford LEZ
• M6 Toll

We'll keep adding new congestion and ULEZ zones as they become available but if you think we've missed one please get in touch.

You can run reports on Congestion Zone activity for your fleet via the History Reports section of the RAM Tracking product.
